Poster Design

I created this gig concept poster for Father of Peace and their show at Beat Kitchen in Chicago. I was so excited to find out that they were finally coming to the US, and even better - that their first live performance was at a venue by me! I was thrilled to get to see them live and kicking off their The Year of Madness & The Mystery Century Tour.

I am always trying to expand my horizons and would love to design an official concert poster someday. It was fun to think about ideas for this gig poster. Part of the creative process was listening to their songs on repeat, focusing on the band’s commonly used colors and imagery, and pulling in some Chicago-specific pieces too.

I created this poster in Procreate on my iPad Pro and with a Apple Pencil. The mockup was created in Photoshop.
